Climb to the top of St Christopher's Cathedral? You can do so every first Saturday of the month from April to October.
The cathedral tower is 80 metres high. And just below the bells, at 75 metres, is the circumambulation. Here, you can walk around the spire and enjoy a wonderful view. Admire Roermond and Central Limburg from above.
The climb, including the return, takes about 45 minutes and includes 265 steps. But the trip is well worth it! There are a number of short stops along the way. Stops include the concert organ, the five bells and the former flat roof.
Every first Saturday of the month, you can climb the tower in Roermond at 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm for a €3 fee.
