Venray Oldtimer City
Traditionally, on the last Sunday of July, a grand oldtimer event takes place.
On average, over 300 cars are present, partially static, but also participating in two tours. The tours are 50 or 80 kilometers long, with a departure time of 11:00 AM and a latest end time of 4:00 PM.
Subsequently, there will be an award ceremony by a skilled jury in various classes. This event is organized for the 28th time this year in the center of Venray. The shopkeepers have an open Sunday, so there is a lot of public presence. The event is embellished with live music played by De Peelzwervers. In addition, the well-known Dixieland band and not to forget Willy the bagpipe player will perform. Also, the Linders family is present again with the barrel organ and steam roller.
