The mill was built in 1614 in Zaandam as a saw mill. In 1891 the mill was shipped to Beesel and built on the small Solberg. Hereby the mill was redecorated to serve as a corn mill. The mill is beautifully situated on the banks of the 'Maas' river in Beesel. With enough wind you can see the mill in operation regularly. There is mainly fodder for farmers milled and on a modest scale products for human consumption, such as buckwheat.
The mill is open to visitors on Saturday between 12:30 and 17:00.
