Biketour: Venray - Tienray

This cycle route takes you along 10 war-related locations from Venray to, among others, Tienray, which housed many people in hiding during the war. The village of Tienray, belonging to the Municipality of Horst aan de Maas, housed many people from the surrounding villages in hiding during the Second World War and was also badly hit by the Germans. This cycle route takes you from Venray to this village, which is now also a place of pilgrimage. The most striking places in this route are the German War Cemetery in Ysselsteyn (Liberation Route Listening Location 203) and the monument for Hanna van de Voort in Tienray.
