At this mountain, the drainage canal ends in a shallow babbling brook with thick maaskeien. Everywhere you look there is plenty of water and sand, so children certainly won't get bored here. The parents/carers can relax on a bench. The sand ridge on which Musschenberg lies is 15 metres higher than the Maas river bed. When you walk in the direction of Kessel, you enter the nature reserve Weerdbeemden.
