Ceramics Centre Tiendschuur Tegelen is a museum and studio for ceramic art.The Tiendschuur is located on the estate of Castle Holtmuhle. It offers a fascinating insight into the world of ceramics and organizes temporary exhibitions of ceramics of international standing, workshops, demonstrations, guided tours and children's parties. Holtmühle Castle
The museum is located on the historic estate 'Kasteel de Holtmühle'. As one of the few in the Netherlands, this castle complex with its tithe barn, castle gates, gardens, ponds and land has been completely preserved. The museum is located in the tithe barn.
Exhibitions
Everything in this museum is made of clay or porcelain, from ancient to modern. There is also a studio where enthusiastic visitors can work with clay themselves during a workshop or course. The Tiendschuur also organizes demonstrations with the 3D printer and the potter's wheel. Check our website for the dates. You can also contact us to organize a children's party. Every Friday at 14.00 hours visitors can join the free guided tour of the museum. The guide will point out the interesting background to the works of art you will be viewing together.
