Nature trail de Paardekop
On the Nature learning path de Paardekop, you will come across all kinds of things: a pond with stepping stones, a sod hut, a town with acidic inhabitants, a hotel you can only get into by flying and a watchtower of up to 18 metres high! At some places there is a sign with information. There is something special to see or do here.
Start and junctions
The official start of the route is at junction 31 (Peelken 2 in Ysselsteyn). From the Puttenweg (also called Peelweg), turn onto the Peelken and continue for about 550 metres to start location near house number 2. Parking is available here in front of the barrier. An alternative starting point is at junction 36 at the rear of the German War Cemetery. Here there is more ample parking in the cemetery car park and catering facilities are also available.
