Learn all about nature
What could be more fun than going outside together and discovering nature with a scoop net in your hand or recognising benthic animals on a search board? The Nature and Environment Centre De IJzeren Man organises all kinds of activities for young and old about nature, the environment and sustainability.
Discover inside
Inside, various activities challenge you to think about nature. The petting hall is a great success with children. In the corridor, there are taxidermy mounts that you can carefully pet. There is also an aquarium, made available by Waterschap Limburg, in which swim fish that live in the Tungelroyse stream.
