Municipality of Venray
Municipality of Venray consists of approximately 1250 hectares of forest and natural areas. With an area of 34 hectares, the Hoogriebroekse woods form a large part of this area. The forests also contain a badger sett. Through these badger tunnels the badgers pass under the A73, and this is widely used by the animals. The hiking route through the forests of Hoogriebroek and Blakt gives you a good view of the forests and the nearby, agricultural surroundings.
