Climb Meijel church

Did you know that the tower of the church in Meijel, at 79.8 metres, is one of the highest towers in the Netherlands? And you can climb it! The 'Méélse' church is a multifunctional building with many auxiliary functions, located in a prominent spot in the village. 

In recent years, the cathedral has undergone a major renovation. The church has new stained-glass windows and the roof has also been renewed. In addition, hundreds of LED lights have been installed to put the church in full 'spotlights'. Finally, the tower has also been fitted with accessible and home-made wooden stairs. The wood for the steps was cut, worked and processed in our own village with the help of thousands of volunteers. 

Climbing the church is not only an experience because of its height but also the beautiful interior and rich history make the experience unforgettable. At 40 metres high, you will enjoy a fantastic view!
