By car
Hart van Limburg is easily accessible by car. The region is centrally located in the south of the Netherlands and is accessed by the A2, A73 and N280 motorways. As a result, travel time from many cities is surprisingly short. From Utrecht, Eindhoven, Maastricht or Nijmegen, you can be on site within an hour and a half. From cities like Antwerp, Hasselt, Düsseldorf or Cologne, too, you can usually reach the region within an hour and a half.
This central location makes the car a pleasant and flexible way to travel to Hart van Limburg. You can easily visit several places in the region, from Roermond and Weert to the smaller villages and nature reserves. The roads are well maintained, signage is clear and accessibility to tourist attractions is generally excellent.
