Animals up close
Around a hundred animals live in animal park DierenRijck. These include goats, sheep, rabbits, fallow deer and a pig, as well as birds such as peacocks, pheasants, ducks and ornamental pigeons. There are even kangaroos and alpacas to see. Thanks to the park's clear layout, you can view the animals up close. Volunteers are often on hand to tell you more about the animals.
Volunteers and education
Animal park DierenRijck Reuver is owned by the municipality of Beesel and runs entirely on volunteers. They take care of the animals and maintain the park on a daily basis. In addition to recreation, DierenRijck also plays an educational role. Primary school pupils and PSW clients regularly come here to help or learn about animal care.
DierenRijck is free to visit and is especially fun for families with children and school groups. Please note the opening hours: in case of bad weather, extreme heat or on public holidays, the gate may be closed.
