100th birthday anniversary
In honour of the 100th birthday anniversary of the Zangeres Zonder Naam, Mary Servaes, Hart van Limburg breathed new life into the cycling route. The route, which was developed several years ago, has been completely revamped. The Zangeres Zonder Naam route takes you through the surroundings of Weert to Stramproy, a church village in the municipality of Weert. You also pass several nature reserves in the outskirts of Weert.
Traditional Dutch Windmills
During this cycling route, you will be treated to the impressive sight of three traditional Dutch windmills: Nijverheid, St. Jan and St. Anna. These beautiful mills are all managed by the Molenstichting Weerterland windmill foundation and are in excellent condition. Be enchanted by the timeless turning of the sails while enjoying the cycling adventure.
