Hoeve Beijlshof
Hoeve Beijlshof is located in the middle of forest, meadows and arable land, intersected by the Reydtbeek and the Tungelroyse Beek. The estate is freely accessible to hikers via the roads and paths, and dogs are allowed on a leash. There is a marked white hiking trail of 3.5 km that crosses the estate.
Landscape
Beijlshof estate offers a varied landscape with both coniferous and deciduous forests and farmland. On the higher parts you will find deciduous forests with plants such as yellow nailwort, dalewort and muskwort, while the coniferous forests host species such as bilberry and multifloral field rush. Bird species such as the black woodpecker, nuthatch and tree creeper feel at home in the old avenues with large beeches and oaks, some of which are pedunculate oaks with a circumference of 3.70 meters.
The estate plays an important role in a series of natural areas in Central Limburg, which are virtually connected via the Groote Bedelaar and Exaten and continue into the Leudal.
