It is located on the Visdijk in Nederweert-Eind and has a special history. This area used to be known as the Leemkuilen because of the clay mining that took place here. Unlike the fragile environment of Sarsven and the Banen, the Rowven is actually meant for people to actively enjoy and learn from nature. It provides space to play and walk, and is also accessible to people with limited mobility. The redesign of this area was inspired by the diverse landscapes around Nederweert-Eind, resulting in a unique nature area with open plains, woods, villages, orchards and water features.
