Route
To begin the bike tour, you must first take the ferry from Kessel to Beesel. Once arrived in Beesel, the route starts at a listening spot of the Liberation Route. This route gives you a glimpse into what took place in the Netherlands and the German border region during 1944 and 1945. After gaining some historical knowledge, continue cycling to Beesel, where you will encounter De Draak at the traffic circle. After crossing Beesel, you will cross the border to the German town of Brüggen. Brüggen is a special town with beautiful surroundings, where you can visit the famous Natur- und Tierpark, among other things. After your visit to Brüggen, cycle back towards the Netherlands and pass through the town of Reuver. In Reuver there are also plenty of places where you can enjoy a snack and a drink. From Reuver you then cycle back to the ferry to return to your destination, Camping Oda Hoeve.
