Take a break on the way at one or more of the 10 enormous works of art that have been placed along the route especially for Maasroute cyclists. On the way, local cycling tours can be made to extend the stay along the Maas.

The Maas bicycle route through Central Limburg
The Maasfietsroute passes through the municipalities of Maasgouw, Roermond and Beesel in the middle of Limburg. It is pleasant to cycle in the flat landscape. You cycle from Rivierpark Maasvallei along the Maasplassen to the historic shopping city of Roermond and on to the dragon village of Beesel. There are many culinary options and numerous historical sites along the way.
The route from North to South can be started at the ferry Kessel-Reuver. The route from South to North can be started at the Sangershoeve in Ohé en Laak.
