The 60-kilometre Road cycling route – To Brabant and back takes you from Weert through Brabant and back to Limburg. Along the way, you cycle on quiet roads and through green natural areas. De Groote Peel National Park is an important part of the route.

Quickly across the provincial border

From Weert, you soon have the first few kilometres under your belt. Within 5 kilometres, you cross the border into Brabant and ride via Sterksel towards Someren and Someren-Eind. Here, there is plenty of space to keep up the pace, with quiet roads and lots of greenery around you.

Through De Peel

After Someren-Eind, you head back into Limburg. The route takes you through De Peel, with De Groote Peel National Park as an important landmark along the way. From there, you continue towards Ospeldijk and Nederweert-Eind.

The final kilometres to Weert

From Nederweert-Eind, the final stretch towards Weert awaits. Keep pedalling a little longer to complete the loop. If you want to take a break along the way, stop for a coffee with Limburgse vlaai.

As this is a circular route, you can start anywhere along the route. This road cycling and touring route is offered by Gemeente Weert and TWC Weert.
