The Sint Donatuskapel is built in a Neo-Gothic style. The nave is built in 1868-1872, the apse dates back to 1885-1890. The principals were the inhabitants of Hushoven, the plan was of Dean Boermans, the later Bishop of Roermond. Several repairs took place in 1926 after a destruction of the interior of the chapel and in 1945 as a new bell was installed. Also in 1957, mid ‘70s and the 20th century. The statues, the cloister and the floor, they are all younger than 1940.
