At Stationsplein 12, Stolpersteine are located in memory of Sijlvain Goedhart, Rosa Hanau and Joanna Ivonne Goedhart. The Chief Commissioner of Police in Roermond requested the detection, arrest, and presentation of Rosa Goedhart-Hanau and her daughter Joanna Yvonne Goedhart, both residing at Pieter Cuyperstraat 7 in Roermond. They were suspected of changing their place of residence without the required permit. Only René survived the Jewish persecution during World War II, while the other family members were murdered.
