Discover the historic centre of Thorn with your smartphone. During this 2 kilometre interactive walking tour, you'll explore the famous white town in around 30 minutes. Along the way, you'll unlock additional information at 21 locations through text and images, allowing you to learn more about Thorn's history, culture and remarkable landmarks.

How the walking tour works

Download the IZI Travel app to your smartphone before you begin. You can do this at home or on site using WiFi. Search for Stadswandeling Thorn in the app and download the route. Once you've done that, you won't need an internet connection during the walk. Simply switch on your GPS so the app can recognise your location.

Stories at 21 locations

The route takes you past a variety of historic locations throughout the town centre. At every stop, the app opens additional information. Read fascinating stories, view historical images and discover step by step what makes Thorn so special. Please note that the tour is currently only available in Dutch.
