The Wilhelmus Hubertus mill on a summer's day

Places of interest

The Wilhelmus Hubertus mill is a 1904 stone bell tower mill. The mill operated until World War II. The mill was recently fully restored and care is taken to ensure that it runs regularly. The mill is now privately owned and can be visited during special opening days.

The Wilhelmus Hubertusmolen is a round brick bell mill built in 1904. The mill replaced an earlier standerd mill, which had burned down as a result of lightning strikes. The mill operated until before World War II. The high mill bell makes the mill stand out above the surrounding area. The mill was built almost on the spot where a wooden standerd mill stood until 1903. When the new, stone mill was built, the grinding mechanism and some parts such as the tail stage of the standerd mill were used.
