The WSV Draeke Vaarders water sports club is also located at this lake. They have a marina with space for 60 boats. This harbour is also available for passers-by. When you register at the marina, you will be given information about the facilities such as showers and toilets. Furthermore, this association has a terrace where you can enjoy a nice drink and a harbour office, which can be used when members are present.
Dogs are allowed here and 2 minutes from the berth you are in the open air for a nice walk. The surroundings of Hanssumer Weerd are also suitable for walking and cycling. The Swalm Valley Cycle Route (32.2 km) and Between Dragons and Noahmen (34.5 km) both pass by Hanssumer Weerd. Furthermore, the walking route Beesel: Between Mortel, Maas and Swal Valley (8.4 km) also passes by this lake.
