Seven Autumn Walks for Young and Grown-Up Explorers

Rain boots or waterproof hiking shoes on? Check! Do you love slipping, sliding, climbing, and scrambling through the woods? We’ve selected seven autumn walks where fun in the forest is guaranteed! Go in search of the most beautiful mushrooms, dragons, and golden elephants, or follow in the footsteps of a real archaeologist.

If you prefer collecting beech nuts, wild and sweet chestnuts just like the forest animals, you’ll love it here. Our region is perfect for spotting and photographing mushrooms. With a free app like ObsIdentify, you can easily identify them, and who knows, maybe you’ll discover a rare species!
The longest route is 8.5 kilometres, the shortest five. And the best part? Each starting point has a cosy café nearby where you can relax afterwards with a hot chocolate, a cup of coffee, and maybe even a tasty treat.
