Sustainability and innovation
Under Eijkenboom's leadership, the nursery recently switched completely to solar energy. Thanks to 73 solar panels and the expertise of new employee Richard Cox, all plants are now grown without gas. This contributes to cost savings and price stability, while protecting the environment.
The nursery not only opts for sustainability internally, but also externally. The suppliers of potting soil and loose soil no longer use gas in their production processes. In addition, the nursery offers recyclable plant pots. Customers can hand in used pots in special pallets at the nursery so that they can be recycled into new pots. This completes the circle of sustainability.
Ordering and advice
Besides visiting the nursery, it is possible to order the desired garden plants through the website rechtstreeksvandekweker.nl. The ordered plants are neatly delivered to your front or back door.
For more information or questions about plants, you can contact Ruud Eijkenboom by phone or WhatsApp. You can also participate in Ruud's Question Time on the nursery's Facebook page, where he regularly answers questions live during the season.
