Getting to Roermond by bicycle
Roermond is easily accessible to all types of cyclists. Besides the many unguarded bike racks, many free guarded bike racks can be found in the city center. In downtown Roermond, there are two options to park your bike: in an unguarded bike rack or in a guarded bike park. It is not allowed to place your bike outside a bike rack on the street.
Guarded bicycle parking in the city center

Free charging points for e-bikes
The Roermond city center has five free charging stations for e-bikes/electric bikes. Cyclists can use these to charge the battery of their bicycle for up to 60 minutes free of charge. The charging point can also be used to charge a laptop or phone, for example.
The first charging point is located at Markt 31, right next to the entrance to City Hall. The second point is next to the parking machine near house number 4 on the Markt. The third and the fourth point is a wall socket in the guarded bicycle parking area on Neerstraat and in Kloosterwandplein. The fifth point is a solar-powered charging station. This is located in Molenstraat next to the bike racks.
Free bike pumps
There are two public bicycle pumps downtown:
- In front of the town hall on the Market Square
- In front of the bicycle shed on the Neerstraat
