Using the cycling route planner

Need help planning your own cycling route? In four easy steps, you will discover using the cycling route planner of Hart van Limburg. Are you ready to plan your own route? Then click here for cycling route planner.

1. Choose your starting point

From the Make a route menu you can zoom in until you see the numbers of the junctions. First click on the numbered junction you want to start from. From the starting point you can then build your route.

2. Choose which sights or terraces you want to cycle past

Do you want to cycle past specific places, such as sights or terraces? Then you can add them to your route by ticking them at the bottom of the route planner. You will find the five different categories under the map with numbered junctions. Click the arrows next to the categories and choose the items you would like to see on the map. This way, you can plan in advance where and when you can take a nice break, in the most beautiful places. How convenient is that?

3. Connecting Numbered Junctions

From your chosen starting point, you can now build your own route. Simply click on the adjacent nodes. These will be highlighted in blue and you will immediately see the distances between them. When composing the route, note that the junction network consists of both paved and unpaved paths. The green lines are paved paths, the brown lines are semi-paved/unpaved paths.

4. Save your route

Is your ideal cycling route complete? Then click on Save your route at the bottom of the route planner. Now you will see the complete, composed route. You can now download or print the route. You can also choose to receive the route by e-mail, so that you can start cycling it later (note that it may end up in your spam filter).
