Experience the familiar nostalgic Christmas atmosphere from grandmother's time on a steam train trip with the special Christmas Express. Experience the Miljoenenlijn in Simpelveld from December 9, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
Christmas Express Million Line
In Simpelveld is the beating heart of the Miljoenenlijn. In and around the 110 year old station building our volunteers will take you back to the Christmas of old. We would like to welcome you here in style with old-fashioned Christmas music and atmospheric decorations. While the children take a look at the Christmas crib on the platform, you can enjoy hot chocolate with a piece of Limburg flan or a delicious homemade soup in our station restaurant 'Brasserie Perron 4'.
Arrangements
During the driving days of the Christmas Expres we also offer special arrangements. How about the Miljoenenlijn-Arrangement (train ride, lunch and informative walk around the railway yard), where we even serve an extra luxurious lunch in our Brasserie Perron 4 at Simpelveld station on December 26, 27 and 31. Or take part in the Castle Walk around Schin op Geul with lunch at Brasserie De Kleine Koning.
