International Children's Festival 2024

The children are our future,'' said Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who founded the children's festival in 1920. What started as a national children's festival has grown into an international children's festival that can be experienced in Weert for the 38th time this year.

On this day, all children are welcome! The festival is organised by and for children. In the Munttheater, performances are given, verses are read by children, songs are sung, children do their dances and can playback to music. Participation is free, parents are also welcome to see and hear their children's fantastic performances!
