Blossom period
The exact blossoming period varies from year to year. It depends on the weather; if it is sunny and warm early in the year, the blossom will be visible earlier. Normally the blossom period is in the months of April and May.
Fruit farm
The cycle route starts from the car park of holiday park De Berckt. From here you cycle along nature reserve Berckterveld in the direction of the Maas. Here you will come close to the fruit farm Görtz Fruit. They have meadows with fruit trees at various locations in and around Baarlo, including pears, the Morel cherry and apples. At the beginning of the route you pass their fruit machine (de Berckt 12d) where you can buy something tasty for a possible break along your trip.
Castle d'Erp
Close to the centre of Baarlo is Kasteel d'Erp. Unfortunately, it is not open to visitors, but it is certainly a nice sight to see from your bicycle.
Stappers
On the way back, you pass through Dubbroek. Here are fruit trees of Stappers. You will see the blossom of apple and mirabelle trees.
