The ColumnCabinet
The Column Cabinet
The Column Cabinet (in Dutch known as 'Het Zuilen kabinet') is a project by Angelo Martinus and Geert Loijen. They have asked graffiti and street art artists from all over the world to take their stage in Weert. By invitation, the 'urban artist' was given a free hand to fill in a concrete pillar of the Boshover Bridge. By now, 40 works of art adorn these pillars. Among others, there is work by the Weert street artist Geert Loijen, better known under the artist name 'Sapo'. But also productions of foreign graffiti artists.

Pillar of Fame
All invited artists create their own artwork from one of the pillars, but there is one pillar that is used by all: the Pillar of Fame. This pillar is signed by all artists after the creation of their artwork. Slowly but surely, this pillar too is filled with art.

Street art walk
Combine Het Zuilen Kabinet with other art through Weert with the Street Art Walk. This route is about 8 kilometres long and takes you along complete murals, painted electricity boxes and everything in between.
This route can also be partially done by bike.

Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame Weert across the canal from the Zuilen Kabinet is a free zone where any graffiti artist can come and paint.
In contrast to the Zuilen Kabinet, this is a kind of 'training ground' where graffiti/street art artists can get their own stage. Here, the offer is constantly changing.
