What does your excursion look like? We welcome you with coffee, tea and “Limburgse vlaai” (Limburg flan) of the local baker. After an explanation of the company and its method of working, we go outside and make a short excursion. A walk with a guide in the beautiful direct surroundings of the farm clarifies how nature conservation of De Wassum works.
If you choose “a demonstration of the shepherd” or “outing with the shepherd”, he awaits you with his flock near the farm. If you choose a program with lunch, this will be served in our reception room in the farm.
In any event, we advise you to put on sturdy shoes or boots and rainwear if necessary. After all, our work continues , also in bad weather and it is as impressive as in sunny conditions!

The Beatrixhoeve in Roermond is the farm of our company Landschapsbeheer (Landscape Management) De Wassum. Landschapsbeheer De Wassum manages nature areas with flocks of sheep. You can visit and experience this special work, carried out by modern shepherds with their dogs.
