Wonderful walks and enjoy the beautiful nature in Roerdalen with 3 culinary stops along the way! The 15 km walk takes you through the cosy villages of Melick, Vlodrop and Herkenbosch, an agricultural area, and along the meandering river the Ruhr.
The catering establishments where you will be treated to something tasty along the way are very characteristic for the region: a cosy country shop, a romantic castle and an atmospheric restaurant with a view of a beautiful windmill. You pay € 11.95 per person.
Included: walking route with map and 3 vouchers for culinary surprises. Consumptions are not included in the price.
Dogs are not allowed in the catering locations.
Due to the nature of the route and the freedom you enjoy as a hiker, you cannot make reservations for the route, even if you are walking with a larger group. However, it may be useful to call the restaurant half an hour before the arrival of a group (more than 8 people) so that the service may be a little quicker with regard to the preparation of the snacks.
The route is available through the webshop and at the tourist offices in Vlodrop land shop Schurenhof, Melick (Oetjspanning) and Herkenbosch (Daelenbroeck Castle). At all these 3 locations the route can also be started.
