The Weert City Guides are organizing a so-called Winter Tour Weert through the city center in collaboration with Museum W in the coming months. A new highlight of this tour is a visit to the elevated “Carillon” exhibition in the tower of St. Martinus Church.

Highlights of the walk include a visit to the St. Martinus Tower, a brief tour of the monumental St. Martinus Church, and a stop at the cloister garden of the Birgittine Sisters on Maasstraat. The route ends at Museum W, where participants can explore the museum at their own pace.
During the Winter Tour, a city guide shares stories about the influence of the Counts of Horne, the old medieval street plan of Weert, and visits some of the city center's remarkable buildings.

The tours are scheduled for Saturdays, December 7 and 21, January 4 and 18, February 1 and 15, starting at 11:00 a.m. You can register by emailing: info@stadsgidsenweert.nl.
Conditions:
- The tour is for individual visitors to Weert, not for groups.
- A minimum of 5 participants is required.
- Climbing the 80-step staircase is at your own risk.
- The cost is €7.50 per person, including access to the Carillon museum.
- After the tour, participants can independently visit the museum for a discounted price of €4 per person or free with The museum pass. Children up to 18 years old are free. Alternatively, you can opt for a discount voucher for Museum W to visit on another day.
