The restaurant was named after the girl Jet who, at the age of 16, was given the responsibility of running the living room cafe at the ferry house on the river Maas. Until the age of 80 she wielded the sceptre here and the name of Aunt Jet was (and is) well known far and wide.
The current Veerhuys has a cozy cafe with spacious conservatory and terrace overlooking the river Maas. At Aunt Jet we like to make time for you. For a nice cup of coffee with Limburgian flan, lunch, dinner. Or for a festive anniversary or a group dinner. We take care of every meeting down to the last detail.
