Sint Anna mill in Keent

Places of interest

The Sint Anna mill, built in 1911, originally served local farmers who previously had to have their grain ground at much greater distances. The mill is a distinctive monument in the landscape. When the mill is running, you are welcome to have a look.

Clercx mill

The mill was built with parts from the Clercxmolen, which came from the inner city of Weert. The mill's name is derived from Anna Truyen, wife of Sjang Clijsters, owner and miller from 1924 to 1965. Notable is the red-white-blue painting of the sails, doors, entrance gate and a white stucco layer halfway up the mill body, which is rather unusual for Limburg mills. A bee garden has also been created around the mill.
