Mills in KempenBroek
The municipality of Weert is known for its green surroundings and the many water and wind turbines that can be found there. Also in GrensPark KempenBroek. There are several mills in the nature reserve that are well worth a visit. On certain days, the mills are open to the public and the miller will explain everything about the operation and history of these beautiful mills. Nature and Environment Centre De IJzeren Man
One of the gateways to GrensPark KempenBroek is the Nature and Environment Centre De IJzeren Man. In this interactive visitor centre, you will learn everything about the nature of KempenBroek. The Nature and Environment Centre organises all kinds of activities for young and old about nature, the environment and sustainability. There is an aquarium with fish found in the Tungelroyse Beek and a large garden containing a herb garden, an insect garden and a tiny forest.
