Liberation Festival Limburg: freedom in unity
The Liberation Festival Limburg traditionally takes place on May 5! And it promises to be another great party with a top program. The artist who will visit Limburg is MEAU. MEAU will open the festival at 12:00 and after that the of the freedom fire will be lit.
After the opening of MEAU there are eleven other acts to admire. On the mainstage these are Troubadours of the future, Elle Hollis, AySay, Myles Sanko and Dubioza Kolektiv and on the Sena stage these are Dreamer, FLEUR, Noell3 + Reanny, Tommy Gazer and Inge van Calkar.
Activities
The Square of Freedom will host activities with different themes around freedom. These include speed dating with a veteran, a global market, performances by the Kunstbende and delicious food.
Where?
In 2022, it was at the ARLO in Roermond for the first time. The many different squares and markets of the city center gave way to a new place by the water. Where all activities and facets of the festival are together in one place.
As always, this festival is free of charge!
Liberation Festival Limburg - How to get there?
The festival grounds
You can reach the festival site in Roermond in different ways.
By car: There are several car parks in Roermond. Parking garage Kazerneplein is close to the festival site and can be reached from accessible roads.
By train: The festival can easily be reached by train. You travel to Roermond station and from there the festival site is within walking distance (1.5km). For the exact departure and arrival times consult the NS travel planner.
By bus: Roermond is easy to reach by bus. You can also take the bus from Roermond central station to Park Arlo.
By bike: Are you from the neighbourhood? In contrast to previous years, this year there will be a bicycle shed near the festival site. More information will follow.
