Stolpersteine Leudal 

Stolpersteine, or tripod stones, are a project by the German artist Gunter Demnig. Throughout Europe, these memorial stones form a tangible reminder of the Jewish victims who never returned from the concentration camps. The Stolpersteine are placed with a brass plate of 10x10 cm with name, date of birth and date of death in the pavement in front of the house of the deportee(s). Placing the memorials was an initiative of the municipality of Leudal in cooperation with Heythuysen resident Roel Rijks.
