History
Gipke and Arjan van der Hoek, followed their dreams and embraced a new adventure. After years of living in the city, they wanted to live closer to nature. Arjan harbored a desire for a food forest, while Gipke dreamed of a small campsite. In 2022, they found their ideal spot just outside Nederweert Eind. On one hectare of grassland, they realized Arjan's design for a food forest, with cozy camping spots in between.
Camping
You camp in a spacious, attractively furnished Bell Tent in a private spot in the newly planted food forest. There are five tents, each equipped with a comfortable bed, cozy lighting, power outlets, indoor and outdoor seating, and storage space. The tents are on insulated decking for added comfort. Sanitary facilities are located in the common indoor area. Cooking can be done in the communal cooking area or with a barbecue you can rent.
Food forest
The site is still under development, and plantings need to continue to grow. During your stay, we are happy to offer a tour and share our experiences about the construction phase. There are also harvest moments you can participate in, after which you can prepare your own delicious meal.
