Places of interest

This 14th century late Gothic chapel with its rich stucco ceiling in South German Roccoco style has a long history.

This history has left a lot of art and culture treasuries in the Caroluskapel. It is one of the rare chapels with a Roccoco ceiling and a Robastelly organ from 1760/63. In the relics cabinets that are cut out of the walls rest the relics of the Martyrs of Roermond. The chapel is open from April to October, every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 14.00 to 17.00 hrs.
