Huize de Brias (The Manor), named after the family's Brias, who lived in the 18th century.

Brias is a country house on the eastern edge of the village Baexem. It lies on the edge of a wide river valley where the 'Haelense Beek' flows. It was connected by a path with the parish church. The main structure of the rectangular eighteenth-century moat is still there.

Today the house is in a private residence.
