De Pottehuuskes
As a guest of De Pottehuuskes you may well be staying in the most unknown and smallest beguinage in the Netherlands! The courtyard was built in 1770-1771 by order of the chapter of the Thorn Abbey. The Itterbeek runs at the back of the houses. At the front - where there is now an open-air theater in the summer - was a beautiful inner garden, adjacent to a building with four identical houses of the abbey.
The Rooms
Pottehuuske Zuster Jerome is a wonderful place for a maximum of two people. The cozy, bright cottage has a living room decorated in shades of blue on the ground floor and a modern kitchen overlooking the Itterbeek. The master bedroom is on the first floor. You will also find the bathroom here.
Pottehuuske Zuster Josephine has a cozy living room and a modern, fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. On the first floor are the bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which has two separate beds. One of these beds is mainly suitable for children because of its length (90 x 180 cm). The authentic details such as the beautiful terracotta floor, the rod-divided windows, the warm use of color and the tasteful decoration ensure that you will immediately feel at home in this charming, historic house.

If you like, she will arrange for you an extensive breakfast in the morning to be delivered to your Pottehuuske. Your Pottehuuske will be cleaned in tip-top order on a regular basis.
